The Grantham Practice

The Grantham Practice has been at the present site since 1970 when it was the first practice in Lambeth to move into a purpose built premises. Prior to moving here, we were on two sites; one by Clapham road and the other by Landor road. The practice had existed at these sites for approx 50 years! In total the practice is around 90-100 years old.

Over this time, we have built up a strong and loyal relationship with the local population and we have always aimed to practice the true values of family medicine; knowing your patient, continuity of care and taking our work beyond the walls of our surgery to help build a healthy community.

Under the tenure of the senior partner Dr Wickremesinghe, the Grantham Practice became the central provider for Minor Surgery in Lambeth.

Now as the practice grows with 2 new partners, we look to maintain the ethos of excellent personalised family medicine that the Grantham Practice has cultivated over many years.

We are keen to embrace innovation and technology to make the experience better for our patients. We understand the need for our service to be accessible and flexible to cater for all our patients from diverse and varied walks of life.
